I headed to the Pyyniki hill. The plan was to get to the top of the hill, and then finally to a small observation tower there. From the top of the tower, I'll be able to see the town, lakes, and forests surrounding the city at the same time. And there is a special reason why I have to do it today.
On my way to the tower, however, I soon forgot about where I was heading. The path through the forest that I walked for the first time was a wonderland itself. At each step, I was stopped and captivated by every beautiful corner of the autumnal forest.
Finally at the top I arrived.
Today is "Tampere's Day."
And I wanted to give my blessings from where I can see the city as wholly as possible.
Happy birthday, Tampere.
Thanks for being here, now.
