I was passing by Emil Aaltonen's park after buying coconut shreds from the supermarket when an unusual scene at the park caught my eyes. A big, white tent was put up on the lawn, and an unusual crowd was filling the park. I know it's the halloween which has become one of those global, in other words, a-cultural thing and is nowadays used for random partying for which people don't even have to brainstorm about its theme. Yeah, yeah, the halloween.
Regardless of my indifference to halloween as a concept or as a day, I like the fact that people do something on that day. For example, look at this. Emil Aaltonen's park, the closest park to my apartment, is usually empty and dead silent. And today, it's full of people, smell of hot dogs, funky Finnish reggae music, and halloween pumpkins carved as cats.
